We are pleased to announce that Eid-ul-Fitr 2020/1441 will be on Sunday 24th May 2020.

Unfortunately due to the ongoing risks related to COVID-19 and welsh government guidelines, this year everyone is urged   to perform Salaat-al-Eid (al-Fitr) in the safety of their own homes in Shaa Allaah and NOT in the masjid.

The Council of Iftaa (Religious Opinion) in Saudi Arabia have given their verdict as to the validity of offering the 2 Rak’aat Eid Prayer at home as follows:
– It is permitted to be performed at Home
– Alone or as as Jamaa’ah
– Khutba is not necessary
– 20 minutes after sunrise up till 20 minutes before entry time for Dhuhr Prayers.

Please remember to offer your Zakat-al-Fitr before Eid Prayers for it to be valid.
